Missy was surrendered to us on 10/18/13. She is just 1.5 year old. The owner siad she was a mix of Pit & Lab???She does not look like either of those breeds. She looks just like a Dobe with a long, thin tail. We do not know how long they owned this pet, but she was afraid & not very social when she arrived. She has came out of her shell & does very well. She does better with children at first meetings than she does adults. She is a bit man shy until she knows they are ok. She is not fully house trained and will need to continue that training. The owner stated she does not like cats, but she was actually afraid of the shelter cats. They had no idea if she were good with other dogs. Where did this poor little girl live.....a box prehaps? She had never seen a vet. She is current on everything now & spayed. She weighs 33.4 pounds. She is extremely pretty. She has stolen all our hearts. Hours are Tues - Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. We accept cash & check with proper ID.
