Teigra came to the shelter on 12/26/13. She had been brought to us by a very local business. She was taped up in a Hungry Howies cardboard box and said to have been left at the business. It was all just very strange, and the person was not very nice. We assumed it had been their cat as they said everyone has a Hungry Howies box. How about you? It really does not matter, it is just ridiculous for people to lie about an animal. We estimated her to be 1.5 years old or a bit more. She is a wonderful cat! Who would do such a thing to her? Can you even think about being trapped in a box and moved about, not knowing what is going on and what will happen to you? Well it is just as scary for the cat. She is a true people pleaser & does well with other cats. We gave her a booster, worming, Rabies vaccine, fleuk/fiv test neg, and treated for are mites. She is around 8.9 pounds. She will be spayed prior to adoption. Hurs are Tues Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. We accept cash and personal check with proper ID. We can use paypal for credit cards.
