This cat was left at the shelter door along with another cat we believed to be her mother. They were in a plastic tote that was duct tapped close without any air holes. They had been left on 2/13/14 and found on 2/14/14 when we arrived at the shelter. What kind of stupid people do crazy things like this?? Are they brain damaged?? It was the coldest winter in years, and this is the way they treat an animal! This is the reason why shelters have to screen adopters.....so they do not end up in the hands of people that would do such a thing. We believe Jada to be the daughter of Jacey. They are both sweet, wonderful, loving cats. Jada is more trusting than her mother Jacey. I would not trust anyone after what they went through either. We have the girls up to date with vaccines, worming, Rabies vaccine, Fleuk/FIV test Negative and spayed. Jada is around 1.5 years old and 9.4 pounds. Jacey is around 2.5 years old and 12.2 pounds. Please consider giving and adult cat a chance. They will not disappoint! Hours are Tues - Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. We accept cash, personal check with proper ID and credit cards by using paypal.
