This fine young kitty was once cared for by a wonderful lady who bravely faced a losing battle with cancer. For the past 30 years of her life, she devoted herself to the welfare of sweet, deserving animals in need of a friend. We received the youngest of her final attempts to help just a few more litters become social, adoptable pets. We took in 12 on 2/8/12. It would be great if they could be adopted in pairs. They have always been together and will be better adaptable in a home. Ava has an estimated birth date of 9/3/11. She is very loving and wants so much to be your best pal. She has came a long way since birth in colony of cats. She does have a way to go in trusting new humans. Ava has the longest way to come in becoming social enough for a family with children. Ava has had a booster, wormed, triple tested neg, and Rabies. Sh was spayed on 2/7/12 and weighed 6 pounds. Ava was given frontline on 2/7/12 as she appeared to have lice. Hours are Tues - sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter & supply a good vet history.
