Lily and her sister Lucy arrived at the shelter on 6/28/14 at 6 months old. They had been dumped dogs prior when they were 6-8 weeks old. They were supposed to arrived at the shelter 3 different times when they were babies, cute and adoptable. They kept them and never provided any vet care OR training. Then at 25 pounds, and 6 month old dogs, they decide to finally bring them to the shelter. These girls are very sweet and do very well together. We guess all this time they had been living under the porch where they were found, as they are not house trained. These dogs love children and will do well in a home with children 5 and up. They will require all their training. We are not sure what the mix is...........but sure can see the hound. Their coats are just a bit longer than a short haired dog. These ladies were spayed on Aug 5th and can then go into their new home. Lucy weighed 24 pounds. We are not sure where the curly tail comes from! You can meet them Tues - Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. Adoption fee is 150.00. We accept cash, personal check with proper ID and credit.
