Marlene arrived at the shelter on 6/27/14. She was estimated to be around 9-10 weeks old. She had been left in the exercise pen for dogs and was almost eaten when the dogs found her. Just how stupid can people get??? She is a very nice kitten. She shares a cage with Martin, he is around her age. She is social and loves people. She loves to be held and loved on. Just give her a toy and watch her gooooo! She does not like dogs, that is why she has a bushy tail in her pictures. She is getting to know the office dog so she will be adjusted prior to adoption. Marlene will be spayed on 8/20/14 and can then go into her new home. She weighs around 4 pounds. Hours are Tues - Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. We accept cash, personal check with proper ID and credit through paypal.
