Buck has surrendered to us on 8/19/12. His former owners pulled into the parking lot & pitched him out. I would have been embarrassed to if my dog looked like him. He was extremely underweight & had no less than 4 layers of fleas covering his totally hairless body. Buck is estimated to be around 2 years old. He is one vocal hound. He loves to be walked although he is not well leash trained. He has not had any training that we can tell. He does really well with many of the other dogs. He actually ignores them for the most part. Buck tested neg for heart worms which was amazing considering the condition he was in. Buck has been with us since 8/19/12 & his picture was taken on 10/12/12. You can still see how thin he is, but he now has some hair. He loves the camera & poses like a show dog! Buck will be neutered prior to going into a new home. Hours are Tues - sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter & supply a good vet reference. We accept cash 7 check with proper ID.
