Bubba and his sibling from another litter, Pooh Bear were surrendered to the shelter on 7/16/14. Bubba is 2 years old and Pooh Bear is 1 year old. We do not fully understand why they are with us, but they are terrified at the shelter. These little boys are very small. Bubba weighs 10.2 pounds and Pooh Bear 6.8 pounds. They will take a little time to adjust to a new home and new people. They are not recommended for a home with children under 10. They will excel in a Chi savvy home. They are great looking little guys. They have not been well socialized. Once they feel comfortable with you, they are the most loving dogs ever. They just need some understanding and patience. They go potty when they get outside. They do really well in a fenced yard. You will just needed to bond before sending them out on their own or you may need to get several people to help corner them to get them back inside. We think they feed off the fear of each other and would most likely to well in separate homes. They do love each other and would do well in the same home too. The boys were neutered on Aug 6th and can go into a new home. Adoption fee is 200.00. You can meet the boys Tues - Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. We accept cash, personal check and credit.
