Tahirah came to the shelter on 11/23/13 along with her mother. They had been dumped & left in the cold. It took some time for them to trust another human. She arrived at the shelter at around 8 weeks old. She was terrified at first & acted a bit wild, but in a couple days she settled right in. She is a pretty kitten. She did not have the best baby world. She did not know what toys were! She was the runt of the litter & most likely will stay on the smaller side. Tahirah will do best in a home that can provide hands on for a time, until she can settle in. She will be spayed prior to adoption. Hours are Tues Sat from 12-3. You must be 21 or older to adopt a pet from this shelter and supply a good vet reference. We accept cash and personal check with proper ID.
